Boilermaker / Welder
Our Company is considered an industry leader with an enviable reputation in rendering Mobile Plant Maintenance.
We are currently looking for OEM trained Boilermaker/Welders with high levels of experience for our field service and shut crews on Mobile Plant
(Future FIFO ex-Perth positions in the FP and MEM workspace may also arise)
This Role Involves:
- Regular repair maintenance on Mobile Plant and may include;
- Chassis, tray and bucket repairs
- Line Boring tasks
Applicants that meet the below criteria are invited to apply:
- Australian Trade Certificate – Engineering and Fabrication
- Hold Welders Inspection certificate and a Certificate 10 for welding Supervisors.
- Minimum 5 years of Boilermaker/Welding experience in Mining Mobile Plant / Earth Moving Equipment.
- Experience on Mobile Plant such as: CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, and various other equipment is essential
- Able to pass Welding and Fabrication testing
- Confidence within MIG & TIG Welding
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings & Weld Symbols
- Mine Site experience preferred
- Rio Tinto or BHP Inducted desirable
- Must have High Risk Work Licence
- Dogging and Rigging Qualifications desired
- Able to pass a Pre-employment Medical and Lab Drug and Alcohol
- Must be able to work unsupervised
